Well, the River level continues to drop. YAHOO! I am wondering how long it is going to take for the ground water to go down as well, and all the water in my basement to go away? The good news is it takes a lot less time to pump out the ditch in front of our home now. *grin* Dewey andI were hoping it would all be gone by this weekend... but I think we were overly optimistic. I am thinking (hoping!!) it will be next weekend now.
This will probably be Vicky's last weekend at home. Next week she heads off to Calgary. I really AM going to have an empty nest! I am so excite for her and the fact that she got the funding to take the program she wants at SAIT. But man, I am going to REALLY miss her and Strider!!
I got a new paper pack up in my 'shoppes at NDISB and ^tioberon studios - take a look:
Aren't they great? I had a lot of fun making them. The distressing is what is fun. It is like painting to get the effect you want. And I got to do it 10 times - cus there are ten papers! Yep, I love doing the brush work. *grin*Here is a layout I made using one of the papers (I know.. a layout two days in a row! I am on a roll!! lol)
